Torah Dedication - Chabad serving Drexel University
« Back to Chabad serving Drexel University

A brand new, and Chabad Serving Drexel's first ever Sphardi Torah is is being graciously dedicated by Drexel alumni, Yakir Gola and Rafael Ilishayev.

Our Sages have taught that each and every Jew has a letter in the Torah which corresponds to his or her soul and spiritual identity.

If one letter is missing, the Torah is incomplete and no longer valid. Similarly, each and every Jew constitutes an integral and irreplaceable part of the Jewish people.

By endowing a word, sentence or portion for yourself, your family or friends, it is as if you have written your own Torah Scroll.

The Chabad House - Rohr Jewish Student Center's new scroll will be the latest link in a holy and eternal chain.

The Chabad serving Drexel Community Torah will connect the past, present and future Jewish communities at Drexel, and YOU can be a part of it!

Yakir and Rafael encourage the community to participate in this unifying and impactful project.
